{in store} : turquoise & gold

Turquoise + gold has always been one of my favorite color combinations, and on my last shopping trip to a vintage jewelry store, I found a pair of earrings and necklace pendant in such a beautiful combo.

就在找資料的同時發現有療癒功能的 turquoise, 被 Pantone 選為 color of 2010: 

"soothing tropical waters and a languorous escape from the everyday troubles of the world, while restoring our sense of well-being," 

"It is believed to be a protective talisman, 
a color of deep compassion and healing, 

and a color of faith and truth, inspired by water and sky."

The it girl Alexa Chung 也愛  turquoise + gold.

"Parisian chic", "whimsical", "playful", "over-the-top girly", "fairy-tale like"

雖然不是目前時尚界主流的中性、post punk、grunge 等風格

但我們喜歡她用童話故事般的角度去詮釋五○與六○年代的復古風,

每一件單品都是 fun & playful!

也喜歡她不跟風不流俗的態度.

1993,

Marc Jacobs collection for Perry Ellis 是

時尚界第一次將源自 Cobain 的 grunge 風格帶上伸展台.

當時沒有人願意花一千兩百元美金把自己穿成流浪漢一般,

所以 ... MJ 被 fired.

MJ 在幾篇訪談中仍認為這是自己目前最喜歡的作品,

創作的當年柏林圍牆倒了, 他正在附近的酒吧,

收音機放著 Cobain 的 smells like teen spirit ...

他以在二手店挖到 $2 的法蘭絨襯衫為設計靈感,

融合他對 street punk 文化特有的敏銳度

做出了 1993 年的 MJ collection.

2006,

Marc Jacobs returned to his grunge roots.

格紋 / 毛帽 / 褲襪 / 層層疊疊 (heavy layering)

沈沈的奶油色 煙灰色 棕褐色

帶著金屬感的灰藍色和酒紅色

這次的 grunge 多了一點點細緻與華麗.

2007,

Chanel's grunge with an uptown edge.

Chanel 的 grunge 有著她一貫的仕女風格

屬於來自紐約上城的貴婦氣息.

2008,

Alexander Wang's Fall/Winter Collection.

猶如從科幻電影銀翼殺手(Blade Runner) 中走出來的 cyberpunk,

活在沒有秩序的未來世界裡.

一件男人的寬大襯衫跟白T搭上皮衣牛仔褲,

創造了 tough girl look.

Wang 維持 grunge 一貫的棕灰色調,

層層疊疊的襪子,

沒有搭上 converse 和格紋衫的隨性,

取而代之的是高筒靴/踝靴/皮衣.

我們叫它 neo grunge.

世界上怎麼會有這麼可愛又有才華的男子?
